America is Being Destroyed Part IV

In part one Laying the groundwork for the Fascist takeover of America, part two Creating an internal enemy and part three Creating a Gulag we saw how the government from Reagan to Obama has created internal and external enemies with several phony wars. Further we explored how the United States has prosecuted and imprisoned millions of enemy combatants aka American Citizens. In this installment we will look at the thug caste created to intimidate people and smother any protest before it even gets started.

Despots have long recognized the necessity of controlling the press. Some would argue it is not possible in a free society but not only is it possible it is an accomplished fact. Later in this series we will have a more in depth discussion of how a few companies control the press but for now be aware the two go hand in hand – control of the press and a thug caste.

Two unlikely allies, political conservatives and fundamental Christians have formed the American thug caste. Not the political conservatism championed by Barry Goldwater but Ronald Reagan’s corruption of it, nor the open forgiving religion of Billy Graham but the aberration preached by Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson.

America is being Destroyed II

Part II, Creating an internal enemy

Ronald Reagan is known as a populist president, a champion of the people. Here are some if the things this well liked president did to the American people. In 1981 he broke the back of the Air Traffic Controllers union “one of the most important events in late twentieth century US labor history.” (McCartin, Joseph A (2006), “Professional Air Traffic Controllers Strike (1981)”, in Eric Arnesen, Encyclopedia of U.S. Labor and Working-class History, CRC Press, pp. 1123-1126, ISBN 0415968267) His action against the air traffic controllers signaled other companies that union busting was ok.

But that was just the beginning of his personal war against unions. Reagan believed they were socialist organizations and in Reagan’s mind there was little if any difference between communism and socialism. In 1982 he appointed three anti union management representatives to the five-member National Labor Relations Board. After that the NLRB did little to protect the rights of the American Worker.

BRIEF IN SUPPORT OF NOTICE FOR DISMISSAL FOR LACK OF JURISDICTION

BRIEF IN SUPPORT OF NOTICE FOR DISMISSAL FOR LACK OF JURISDICTION
The following has been used in at least three states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia) as a legal brief to support a demand for dismissal of charges of “driving without a license.” It is the argument that was the reason for charges being dropped, or for a “win” in court against the argument that free people can have their right to travel regulated by their servants.

The forgotten legal maxim is that free people have a right to travel on the roads which are provided by their servants for that purpose, using ordinary transportation of the day. Licensing cannot be required of free people, because taking on the restrictions of a license requires the surrender of a right. The driver’s license can be required of people who use the highways for trade, commerce, or hire; that is, if they earn their living on the road, and if they use extraordinary machines on the roads. In other words, if you are not using the highways for profit, you cannot be required to have a driver’s license. This brief or the right it demonstrates is no substitute for either being safe on the road or for learning the subject of rights versus regulations thoroughly before attempting to use or act upon this information.
