FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTs
by Jeremy Coleman

As hard as it is for those of us in Law enforcement to believe, there is no room for speculation in these court decisions. The American citizen does indeed have the inalienable right to use the roadways unrestricted in any manner as long as they are not damaging or violating property or rights of
another.

Government, in requiring the people to file for “drivers Licenses, vehicle registrations, mandatory insurance, and demanding they stop for vehicle inspections, DUI/DWI roadblocks etc. without question, are “restricting”, and therefore violating, the Peoples common law right to travel.

Is this a new legal interpretation on this subject of the right to travel? Apparently not. The American Citizens and Lawmen Association in conjunction with The U.S. Federal Law Research Center are presently involved in studies in several areas involving questions on constitutional law. One of the many areas under review is the area of “Citizens right to travel.” In an interview a spokesmen stated: “Upon researching this subject over many months, substantial case law has presented itself that completely substantiates the position that the “right to travel unrestricted upon the nations highways” is and has always been a fundamental right of every Citizen.”

Fly Clear, Attacks on Freedom

   Posted by: McCobb    in Issues

How does skipping the long line at the airport sound? Too good to be true? Maybe. After a read in the “Rolling Stone” magazine an article titled “China’s All-Seeing Eye” by Naoni Klien, I discovered a few names of those who are behind the spying within the US. By understanding how technology is used in other countries, we can see how they could be used in our country.

“Fly Clear” is a program that will help you get through the airport screening faster. All you have to do is give your fingerprints and have your picture taken. Sounds so easy, lets just all get in line, or not?

The real company behind this convenient service is the same company that is helping the Chinese government to crack down on dissidents, such as Tibetan Monks, and human rights activist.

While helping break the Fourth Amendment right on illegal search and seizure, and ignoring legislation passed after Tiananmem Square in 1989. (A band from selling any products that can be used for “crime control or detection instruments or equipment”) one should question their motives of profit over human rights.

The company behind this is called L-I and even more secretive unit called SpecTal. According to the article they are deeply integrated with several governmental agencies. This is Big Brother. Unfortunately not our big brother.

I wish to thank Naomi Klien for writing “China’s All-Seeing Eye” and “Rolling Stone” for publishing it in the May issue of 2008. Keep up the great work and maybe we will save ourselves from the power of world leaders.

Did Booth act alone?

   Posted by: Rasputin    in Reviews

No. He had several coconspirators. Perhaps the most interesting was Dr. Samuel Mudd.  In the 1865 conpiracy trial Mudd claimed he didn’t know Booth. However, Dr. Mudd had stayed at Surrat’s boarding house (where the conspiracy was hatched) and it was possible, even likely he knew John Wilkes Booth. More on this later. What is known is that Dr. Mudd set Booth’s broken leg.

After shooting President Lincoln John Wilkes Booth jumped from the Balcony at Fords Theatre breaking his ankle. With adrenalin pumping through his body Booth ran out of the theatre to meet up with another coconspirator David Herold. Mr. Herold had just fled the home of Secretary of State William Seward who was also a target of assassination. Herold had led Lewis Paine to the Secretary’s home where it was planned Paine would kill Seward. Seward survived the attack however.

Leaving Paine to fend for him self Herold met up with Booth just outside of Washington. After stopping at John Lloyd’s tavern the two made their way to Dr. Mudds home around four in the morning. After setting Booths ankle Dr. Mudd allowed the killers to stay at the doctors house until late that afternoon. Booth and Herold then left, making their way south until Booth was killed and Herold captured at Richard Garrett’s farm.

Dr. Samuel Mudd was convicted of conspiring to kill the President and sentenced to life in prison, escaping the death penalty by one vote. But how guilty was he? Mudd claimed Booth and Herold had introduced themselves as Tyson and Henston and he was unaware the two were the ones responsible for Lincolns’ murder.
