I have wrote about the WEB before, describing it as endless sea of information. I now am discovering just how small the WWW is. I know we all talk about how we can find out about any subject we want, but the more I try to find out specific new ideas on any subject I find myself discovering that when it gets down to it, there is a limited about of original thought inside the WEB, information that seems to be transcendental in nature.

I find that with myself, I started to look at the WEB as a guru of information, like a GOD. I have finally been enlightening to just how little we can truly learn from inside the web. Yes,…there is a lot of data inside the web, but it is like anything else, it can only be rearranged so many ways until one discovers that it has no more to offer than spending time with someone and discovering their view of the reality they find themselves in, or looking into the depths of our souls at our reality. There are endless realities just like endless possibilities and when you truly grasp that idea you discover that the rest is just distractions along your journey through this world.

“The God that Wasn’t There” trailer

Posted by: McCobb Tags: , ,

This may be a video that helps you understand why certain people who believe they are following the good teaching of Christ, instead back the actions that are a far cry from Christ. If the leaders preach hate, intolerance, the followers will also. It is in our nature to be these things, it is religion that should hold us to a better standard.

Symbols and their Meaning

   Posted by: Rasputin

Things are not always as they appear

There is no symbol higher than truth

Things are not always what they appear. Examine the picture on the left. Do you see a naked couple embracing or dolphins swimming? True, it is a designed optical illusion but too often we fail to examine those things which need closer inspection.

Symbols in our society are very powerful and too often misunderstood. Examine the symbol below the picture of the ‘dolphins’. It reads, “There is no religion higher than truth”. You may or may not agree with the statement but look closely at the symbols. In the circle at the top of the drawing there is what appears to be a swastika. A symbol of perhaps mans meanest philosophy in history. But consider, the arms of the swastika go to the right, here they go to the left. Now what does it mean to you? What if I told you it can be found on many Buddhist temples?

There is also a six pointed star in the middle. Or is there? Look again, it is a black triangle entwined with a white triangle. A black triangle traditionally represents matter, the white triangle represents the spirit. In the middle is the Ankh, an ancient symbol of life. Together the three represent the Godhead. Deity is often symbolized by three. The Holy Trinity, “Three Lights” and the “Three Lives” of Ain-Suph to name a few.

What is Faith?

   Posted by: Rasputin Tags: , , , , , ,

McCobb is always telling me to have faith. But what is faith? In the Bible, perhaps the supreme reference, defines faith as “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. (Hebrews 11.1 KJV)

Faith is believing there is more than what we see, hear and taste. Faith is belief not yet proven. Faith can also be the biggest lie ever told. Believing something is true doesn’t make it so.

Unfortunately people sometimes prefer to believe the untruth over fact. I don’t consider that to be faith.

For instance, it requires faith to believe in God. There is no proof, no method of measuring His presence. But I believe in God, my faith being the evidence of his existence.

My faith does not extend to the myriad of rules, regulations and traditions that have become synonymous with belief in a higher power. It baffles me as to how one could read the Bible, a book based on faith and forgiveness, and then forge a concrete and unforgiving religion around ‘the word of God’.

Incidentally the Bible is not the ‘word of God’.

John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.(KJV)

John 1:14 – And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.(KJV)

Obama

It looks like America has become a nation represented by a man who appears to be just what the Doctor ordered. I am cautiously skeptical at the hopes of America. Do I simply forget the North American Union, The Amero, or the fact that our economy is not based on our president, but those who control our currency, the Fed? It seems we are simply pacified by the hope of a bi-racial president and all the time our country is being manipulated by the world bankers, who’s names we do not even know. I don’t know about you, but I am still very concerned for America.
