What is philosophy? Perhaps the hardest aspect of philosophy is defining what it is. To me philosophy fuses science and religion, combines faith and fact into reasons and explanations.Science tries to explain the physical world, what we can see, feel, taste and measure. Science is left brain – logical, rational, analytical and objective. Religion attempts to help us understand the spiritual world. Religion is right brain, random, intuitive and subjective. Philosophy is whole brain.
Divisions of Philosophy
The main branchs of philosophy are metaphysics, epistemology, ethics and logic.
