Membership
Who can become a member?
Anyone–that means YOU!
Why become a member of GenCob?
Membership allows you to take part in the discussion of the important issues debated here at the site.
Are there different memberships?
Yes. At the moment, Generation Cobweb is offering two different memberships to our guests.
Subscriber–This is the basic membership that anyone who registers will automatically receive. Subscribers have the ability to comment on articles posted throughout the site. Subscribers also receive periodic newsletters from the GenCob staff.

Contributor–This advanced membership will allow the user to submit posts for publishing on GenCob. To receive this membership, the user must first register as a Subscriber, then go to the Contact Us page and select ‘Become a Contributor’ in the pull down menu. In the message block, paste your first post that you would like submitted for publication, and then submit the form. After review, the submitted post will be posted on the site and the user will be notified about his/her membership status. That’s it. You’re now able to post at will on Generation Cobweb.

Are there any rules to membership?
Yes. Very simple, common sense ones though. To see the rules, visit the GenCob Standard.
How can I get my blog, or MySpace page listed under GenCob Blogs?
Easy. Anyone’s blog can be listed under GenCob blogs, but in order to do so, users must fulfill certain conditions. Visit GenCob Blogs for more information.
Is there a message board for members?
At the moment, no. However, one is scheduled to be released sometime in the future, based on demand.
